Its been a while since I wrote a blog and for those who are regular readers I apologise the new job has been amazing and therefore I have been very busy. Just a quick blog to mention one of those random but extremely interesting ideas and techniques I was told about this week by a fellow photographer.
I was at an event run in aid the charity I work for by a wonderful group of local students. The guy who took the photos for the event was not just nice enough to do this for free but share some of his wisdom. I ask for some general advice and he gave me a great idea of trying to find a letter in shapes in every picture to make it interesting and stand out. We then went round the room and very quickly found two or three really good examples of how this works and it has really changed the way I look at my shots, I don't have any examples yet but will be trying out when I get the time and get back to you.
